AI FOR PHILIPPINE EDUCATION
Every Filipino student deserves personalized learning support. We're building free tools to help educators make that possible -- starting with the 25 million students in Philippine public schools.
Teachers across the Philippines are doing extraordinary work under difficult conditions -- large class sizes, heavy administrative loads, and limited resources. International assessments like the Programme for International Student Assessment (PISA) reflect these systemic gaps, not the dedication of educators. With the right tools, teachers can focus on what matters most: their students.

STUDENT-TO-TEACHER RATIO
In many Philippine public school classrooms, a single teacher is responsible for 40 or more students. Providing personalized attention to every learner in that setting is an enormous challenge. AI tools can serve as a digital teaching assistant -- helping each student get the support they need while the teacher leads the class.
52+ hrs
AVERAGE WORK HOURS PER WEEK
Filipino educators are among the hardest working in the region -- averaging 52 hours a week, with over 25% exceeding 60 hours. Much of that time goes to paperwork and administrative tasks instead of instruction. Teachers deserve tools that handle the busywork so they can focus on teaching.

When teachers are stretched thin, students miss out on the personalized support that builds strong foundations. The right tools can help change that.
01
AI can serve as a digital teaching assistant that adapts to each student's pace -- providing personalized practice and support so that teachers can extend their reach to every learner, even in large classes.
02
Teachers should spend their time teaching and inspiring students -- not buried in paperwork. AI can help automate routine administrative tasks like grading and reporting, giving educators back the hours that matter most.
03
Empower teachers and administrators with early-warning insights. By identifying which students need extra support sooner, educators can step in proactively -- building on what they already know about their classrooms.

Founder & AI Engineer
After learning about the Philippines' PISA results through a 2025 GMA News article, Perty dedicated himself to extensive research on how AI could be applied to the Philippine education context. Drawing on his experience as a software engineer with Cisco Systems Inc. (1995-2005) and his track record of founding and growing startups, he shifted his company's focus to full-time AI education research -- guided by the principle that technology should serve the actual needs of Filipino classrooms.
Business Development
Enzo attended a presentation by Perty and was struck by how much potential there was to support Filipino educators through technology. Bringing over a decade of experience at Shell Shared Services (Asia) B.V. (2010-2022) and his Bachelor of Arts (AB) in Psychology background, he's now working to understand where AI can best support the priorities that EDCOM2 has identified -- and connecting with the educators and leaders who can help shape these tools.
We're creating free AI tools designed with teachers, for teachers -- so every public school student in the Philippines gets the support they deserve.
